MESSAGE FROM THE PRINCIPAL

Muzaffarabad Public School was established in 1995. Owing to its role in enhancing the standard of education in the town, it has been regarded as one of the leading schools of the city. Professional approach to education, qualified staff, achievement levels, generals’ standard and discipline are the qualities that helped us to achieve this position. The Success we have met encouraged us to expand the school to incorporate large classes. With this goal in vies. We utilized all of our resources in 2000 to create an infrastructure. As a result of our continuous efforts Muzaffarabad College of Higher Studies was established in 2001 to provide peaceful, stimulating and exacting environment.

To prepare students of the secondary, intermediate, BBA, MBA, B.Com and B.Ed examinations conducted by the University of AJK and the Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education Mirpur.

Muzaffarabad Public School & College for Higher Studies is conveniently located in the center of the city. We are situated on the road branching off the main road in front of the holy shrine of sain Sechali Sarkar. We stand on the bank of the river Neelum just near the hanging bridge popularly known as “The Neelum Suspension Bridge” The place is too obvious to miss. It is an easily accessible road where all means of transportation can find their way without hindrance. The building offers a spectacular view of the river and the mountains surrounding the capital city. This is all in the background of sweet melody made by the restless waves of the River Neelum.

TEACHING STAFF
We believe in the importance of the “Man behind the gun. Syllabus does have an advantage and provides the guidance as to which way to go and how, but it is the teacher who makes the difference. It is argued in foreign language teacher, he will spoil it, and give any syllabus to a competent, teacher he will put flesh and blood into it. This philosophy is a guiding principle in the selection of the staff. High academic qualifications, professional training, Experience and character traits are kept in view while recruiting the staff. Planning to educate our student in a way that fosters professional excellence and originality of vision, we have engaged whole time qualified faculty, visiting professors from the University Of AJ&K, Government Post Graduate College Muzaffarabad.

I am determined to put in the best of my efforts coupled with teaching and administrative experience gained form university of Pakistan U.K. and Australia during thirty years of my career as professor of English Chairman Department of English and Dean Faculty of Arts. I am sure Muzaffarabad College for Higher Studies, like our school, will also emerge as a distinguished institute of the town with continues d co-operation of students and parents also coupled with best wishes for help and guidance by Allah.
